CONSULTATION & DESIGN
We use the latest tech to design your solar system
We assess your energy needs and calculate how much you could save by switching to solar. Our engineers will design a bespoke solution to suit your energy needs by assessing your roof using HD aerial images. This allows us accurately determine the best layout and evaluate any potential shading issues so that your system can function optimally.
Drop it like it’s hot!
We find the best possible spot for your solar system by using shade analysis simulation that shows us the hotest spots on your roof throughout the year. At Smart, we don’t second guess. We make sure your solar system is generating electricity at it’s maximum power!
High-res arial imagery
We use advanced solar software to give us an accurate calculations of your roof slope and with high-res vertical and oblique imagery we have a better clarity of the varied angles of your roof.
Estimated solar output
We use weather and solar data to estimate your yearly solar output which will help us to determine your optimal solar system size.
APPLICATION TO CONNECT TO GRID
We do all the paper work!
Our dedicated technical support staff will take care of everything – like submitting grid and meter applications to your energy distributor and retailer. They also ensure that a Smart Meter will be installed and that the Solar System can be connected safely to the Grid.
INSTALLATION
Panels installed by accredited technicians
All our installers are MCS accredited and qualified to do the job.. The installation starts between 7am and 8am or 12pm and 1pm and is usually done within 4 to 8 hours. We ask you to be at home for the first part but otherwise you can go on about your day as usual. We will test and make sure everything is running correctly before connecting to the grid.
ACTIVATION
Start making energy
Once the installation is complete and your solar retailer has updated your meter board with a Smart Meter, we connect your panels to the grid. You’ll be able to monitor your energy consumption right from home and enjoy the savings your solar system generates.
